Shannon Omisore is President and CEO of the SomiWriter Group. In April of 2007, she launched the SomiWriter Group. A lifelong writer, Shannon decided to become self-employed to devote the majority of her time to writing for organizations. Her most recent projects have included writing articles for health care and community-based publications.
Before launching the SomiWriter Group, Shannon worked for Georgia State University as a publications specialist. While working in that capacity, she created the Dean's E-News, an internal newsletter for the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. Shannon also wrote announcements and edited various publications for the college. With experience writing for health care, education, non-profit and government publications, Shannon looks forward to using her expertise to help clients shine.
Shannon has earned a B.A. in English from Spelman College and an M.A. in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University.
